Dirty Dancing. We know the movie and the songs.

➡ 1. Bill Medley and Jennifer Warns
(I’ve had) the time of my life
💿 Medley was a member of the Righteous Brother from 1963-1968 and 1974-1976.
Warns: last record 2001.
The song is really lovely and you just want to dance.

➡ 2. The Ronettes
Be my baby
💿 Band existed from 1959-1966.
This is their most popular song.
You know that song. It’s a bit groovy 😉

➡3. Patrick Swayze
She’s like the wind
💿heartbreaking song.
Swayze was such an amazing actor and singer. Such a huge lost for the world.
1952-2009.

➡4. Eric Carmen
Hungry Eyes
💿 was a member of the band The Raspberries.
Hungry eyes is a sexy song.

➡5. Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs
Stay
💿this is a doo-wop song. They had their first tries in the 50s but with “Stay” they became a number 1 song.
I really like it.

➡6. Merry Clayton
Yes
💿good mood song. Totally cool.
Merry Clayton way firstly known for her collaboration with The Rolling Stones and the song “Gimme shelter”.

➡ 7. The Blow Monkeys
You don’t own me
💿they still making music. Last CD 2015, since 1981 (some breaks including) .
The song is nice.

➡ 8. Bruce Channel
Hey Baby
💿this is a typical 50s song (was written 59)
Bruce McMeans (birth name) last record was released in 1975. He still writes songs and has some gigs.

➡9. Zappacosta
Overload
💿Don’t like that song.
Alfie Zappacosta’s Last record was released in 2008.

➡10. Mickey and Sylvia
Love is strange
💿 Mickey Baker was born 1925 and died 2012.
The song is a mixture of Jazz and Pop.
In the movie is the song really sexy.

➡11. Tom Johnston
Where are you tonight
💿Johnston was member of Doobie Brothers.
The song is good bit Not my favorite.

➡12. The five satins
In the still of the night
💿 a doo-wop Group.
This song was their most successful.
I love this style really much!

🎶🎶🎶

I like this Soundtrack, not every song, but most of them. I like this 50/60s sound.
The CD and movie were released 1987.
The movie is still one of the most successful dance movies in time.

Patrick Swazy made it and he will never forget.

Wenn die Magie verboten wird und die Liebe ausstirbt, was passiert dann mit einer Welt, die nur dadurch existieren kann?
